Icon of Jesus Christ Just Judge painted by Marchela Dimitrova

It is an icon of Jesus Christ Just Judge painted by me last Summer. It was pained in my studio at White House Farm, Great Glemham, Suffolk, the UK. It is on wooden board of size 100 by 70 cm made by local carpenter [Raymond Hopkins] of local oak tree [Glemham oak], primed with linen cloth [made in Russia] and gesso, using technique of egg tempera [high quality natural pigments and egg emulsion] and Golden leaf 24 carats [made in Germany]. The icon was included in my icon exhibition at Alde Valley Spring Festival 2017. It represents the Final Judgment of Jesus Christ according the gospel of Matthew 25:31-46 ' When the Son of Man comes in his glory with all of his angels ... '
